Tour Details

Head to Piazzale del Museo Borghese in the heart of Villa Borghese, where your guide will be waiting. Learn about this park and then proceed into the Galleria Borghese. This villa hosts one of the best private art collections globally. You will enjoy a 2-hour guided tour in a reduced group of no more than 10 people.

The Museum’s private art collection was initiated by Cardinal Scipione Borghese in the seventeenth century, featuring mainly sculptures and antiquities displayed non-chronologically.

In the sculpture rooms, admire "Venus Victorious" by Antonio Canova, depicting Napoleon Bonaparte's sister as a Venus. Also view other masterpieces including Bernini's "David", a notable Baroque work.

The tour concludes 2 hours after it begins.
