Amphibious Splash City Tour

Discover Mozart's birthplace and visit its landmarks in a different way on this amphibious bus tour of Salzburg. Experience this unique transport method on both land and water.

Description

At the agreed time, we'll meet at 1a Franz-Josef-Kai. We will board a unique bus that takes us on a panoramic tour of Salzburg. During the route, this vehicle will turn into a boat.

We'll start with a short tour along the river and then exit at Müllnersteg to continue on land. We'll visit Mirabell Palace and the house where Mozart was born and created his first works as a child. We will also see Leopoldskron Castle, a Rococo-style villa featured in the movie The Sound of Music.

Next, we will explore Mülln, one of the oldest districts in the city, where some mills from the Middle Ages still stand. Afterwards, we will return to the starting point with a "splash down" on the river.

On this last part of the tour, we'll enjoy the skyline view of Salzburg while sailing on the Salzach River. After an hour and a half of exploring the city, we will conclude at the meeting point.
