Private Tour of Quito

  • 4 horas

Enjoy an exclusive visit for you and your partner, family, or friends with this private tour of Quito with a guide just for you. Fall in love with the capital of Ecuador!

Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Quito to begin our private tour of the capital of Ecuador. The first stop will be at the National Basilica of Quito, located in the historic centre.

Also known as the Basilica of the National Vow, this significant monument is the largest neo-Gothic temple in America. During our visit, we'll explore its interior, vibrant stained glass windows, and the height of its two spires.

As we stroll the historic streets of Quito's old town, we'll reach the Plaza de la Independencia, also known as Plaza Grande. Here, we will reflect on Ecuador's history at the Independence Monument and admire the Government Palace's facade before visiting the interior of the Church of the Society of Jesus.

The church's façade, carved from volcanic stone, is a distinctive baroque feature of Ecuador. Inside the central nave, every column, chapel, and wall is adorned with gold, showcasing its reputation as the "jewel of America."

Finally, we will climb to the Panecillo viewpoint for unparalleled views of Quito before concluding our 4-hour tour and returning you to your hotel.
