We will meet at the entrance to Palacio de Velarde at the scheduled time to begin our guided tour of this elegant building in Santillana del Mar. We will first learn about the details of its construction.

Next, we will proceed to the second floor, where a great hall showcases the ghosts of notable historical figures associated with the palace, including Pedro Velarde, Ricardo León, and aristocrat Trinidad Von Sholt Hermensdorff.

Continuing to the third floor, we will study Renaissance architecture, the lineage of the Velarde family, and the coats of arms associated with the palace over time.

We will also observe the well-preserved rooms, including the office of Frida Kahlo's doctor, Francisco Guerra. This room offers the best panoramic views of Santillana del Mar and its historic center.
