Want to discover the Venice of China? On this day trip to Suzhou, we'll discover the city's charms, from its canals to its stone bridges.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Hengshan Garden Hotel in central Shanghai, from where we'll head to the Venice of China.

After approximately 2 hours, we'll arrive at Suzhou, known for its canals. The tour will begin at the Master of the Nets Garden, a World Heritage Site showcasing the blend of art and nature from the 12th century.

We will then proceed to a restaurant in the historical center for a traditional lunch featuring a local dish. Following lunch, we'll visit the Suzhou Silk Mill to observe silk fabric production.

The tour continues with a walk along Shan Tang, recognized for its traditional houses and scenic views, often regarded as one of the most beautiful streets in the world.

After exploring Shan Tang, you will have an hour at your leisure in the center of Suzhou to explore historic sites, enjoy tea, or shop for local handicrafts.

We will reconvene for the return to Shanghai, expected at the meeting point 9 hours after pickup.
