Kandy Private Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya at 7 AM. Without wasting time, we'll board the vehicle and drive 90 kilometers south to Kandy, about two and a half hours away.

Over the course of the day, we'll explore the second most important city in Sri Lanka and a key pilgrimage site for Buddhists. We'll visit key places such as the Royal Botanic Gardens of Peradeniya, which features more than 4,000 different species of plants, the artificial lake of Kandy, the statue of Bahirawakanda Vihara, and a silk factory.

No visit to Kandy would be complete without stopping by Sri Dalada Maligawa, also known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists worldwide. Discover its fascinating history on the tour!

During the excursion, the guide will recommend the best restaurants in town to have lunch and try the local cuisine. Kandy is noted for having some of the best pastry shops in Sri Lanka, offering delicious sweets.

At the end of the excursion, we'll return to Sigiriya, where we'll drop you back at your hotel at 7 PM.
