Kandy Private Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya at 7 am. We'll board the vehicle and drive 90 kilometers south to Kandy, about two and a half hours away.

We will explore Kandy, the second most important city in Sri Lanka and a pilgrimage site for Buddhists. The itinerary includes visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens of Peradeniya, featuring over 4,000 species of plants, the artificial lake in Kandy, the statue of Bahirawakanda Vihara, and a silk factory.

No visit to Kandy is complete without stopping by Sri Dalada Maligawa, also known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. The tour will cover its significant history.

The guide will recommend the best restaurants in town for lunch to experience the local cuisine. Kandy is known for having excellent pastry shops, making it essential to taste their sweets.
