Excursion to Pidurangala and Hiriwaduna Village

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Sigiriya at 7 am. From there, we will set off for our initial destination: Pidurangala.

Once we arrive, we will delve into the exploration of this Buddhist site while sharing captivating stories from its past. Following this, we will ascend to Pidurangala Rock, offering breathtaking vistas of Sigiriya and the renowned Lion Rock. Be sure to have your cameras ready to capture the moment!

After soaking in the magnificent views, we will make our way back down and take you to a local dining area, granting you some leisure time for lunch.

Refreshed and ready, we will proceed to the village of Hiriwaduna, where you will gain insight into the traditional ways of life. Experience a ride through the rice paddies on an ox cart and enjoy a charming boat ride across Hiriwadunna Lake.

The excursion will wrap up as we return you to your hotel in Sigiriya by 5 pm.
