Want to discover one of the most famous natural monuments of Gran Canaria? This Roque Nublo hiking tour will allow you to explore this volcanic formation characteristic of the island, walking among Canary pine trees.

Roque Nublo Hiking Tour

At 10 am, we'll meet at the Roque Nublo parking lot, located 30 minutes from the center of Tejeda. We'll begin a 6 km hiking tour to explore the mountains of central Gran Canaria and discover one of the island's main icons.

We'll start walking uphill, enjoying the silence of nature and 360-degree views of Gran Canaria's steep peaks. We will avoid the most touristic trails and venture through beautiful unknown areas, reaching one of the highest points on the island at 1,813 meters.

During the Roque Nublo hike, we'll traverse Canary pine forests until we reach the viewpoint of this volcanic rock, which is protected as a Biosphere Reserve. An explanation of the natural landmark's formation and its historical significance as a worship site for the indigenous people of Gran Canaria will be provided. Views of the rocks of El Fraile and La Rana will also be included.

After the hike, we'll conclude our tour at 2 pm at the starting point.
