Description

At the designated time, we’ll meet at the Statue of Eleftherios Venizelos and depart from Thessaloniki. The tour includes a visit to the Pozar thermal baths and the ancient city of Edessa.

The first stop is Pozar, located about 100 kilometres (62 miles) from Thessaloniki. These natural pools offer a unique experience with icy waters from the mountains and thermal waters at 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit). The inland thermal baths at the foot of the Voras Mountains are known for their health benefits, including treatments for arthritis, poor circulation, and respiratory and skin problems.

After enjoying 2 hours of relaxation, we proceed to Edessa, the ancient capital of the Macedonian kingdom. Upon arrival, you will have an hour and a half of free time for lunch at local restaurants. Following lunch, we will visit the famous waterfalls of Edessa for photo opportunities.

In total, the tour lasts between 8 to 9 hours before we return to Thessaloniki to conclude the day.
