Sushi-Making Workshop
- 2 horas
Want to know the secrets of a quintessential Japanese dish? In this sushi-making workshop in Tokyo, you'll learn to make your very own nigiri and maki.
Workshop Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Izumiya Akasaka building to begin this sushi-making workshop. You will first learn to wash your hands in the traditional way and then grate fresh wasabi. Careful attention is necessary here.
Next, you will prepare the rice, an essential component of sushi, as its shaping influences the taste. Once you master this step, you will proceed to add fresh ingredients from Tokyo's bay, including tuna, salmon, prawns, and squid. You will create 8 different combinations of nigiri and 1 temaki.
After the preparation, you will be able to taste your creations and have the option to include a sake tasting before concluding the 2-hour workshop. You'll also have the opportunity to take photos at the counter to remember your experience.
