Semarang Private Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Yogyakarta at 7 am and board a private vehicle that will take us directly to Semarang. After a three and a half hour drive, we'll arrive at this city on the north coast of Java.

We'll then start a guided tour of Semarang to visit essential places, such as the Bledung church. We'll observe its facade and learn about the first Catholic church in the city.

The next stop will be Lawang Sewu, known as the thousand-door building. We'll discuss the story behind this large house built by the Dutch in the early 1900s. After the tour, you'll have one hour of free time to have lunch on your own at a local restaurant (not included).

The tour continues with the Chinese Sam Po Kong temple, a colorful temple that welcomes visitors of any religion.

Finally, we'll visit Kampung Pelangi, or the rainbow village, where all houses are painted in bright colors.

The tour concludes after a little more than six hours at the location you specified during booking.
