Pickup from your hotel in Yogyakarta is at 7 am in a comfortable private vehicle for a three and a half hour drive to Semarang.
The guided tour will begin with a visit to the Bledung church, where you will learn about the first Catholic church in the city.
Next, visit Lawang Sewu, known as the thousand-door building, built by the Dutch in the early 1900s. You will have one hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant (not included).
Continue to the Chinese Sam Po Kong temple, a colorful site welcoming visitors of all religions.
Finally, visit Kampung Pelangi, or the rainbow village, where houses are painted in bright colors to improve its image.
The tour concludes after a little more than six hours at your designated drop-off location.
