Grindelwald & Mount First Day Trip

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Sihlquai bus station parking lot. From Zurich, we'll drive to the Canton of Bern.

We'll first stop in Interlaken, located between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. After a short photo stop, we'll continue our journey to Grindelwald, a village in the Bernese Alps.

Upon arrival, we'll provide your train tickets for your return to Interlaken in the afternoon and tickets for the cable car to Mount First. After reaching the summit at 2100 meters, you'll have 3 hours of free time. Your cable car ticket grants access to the First View observation deck and the Cliff Walk by Tissot, featuring a 40-metre-long walkway with views of the Alpine peaks.

At the summit, drinks and activities are available. Ensure to return via cable car to Grindelwald on time. At the designated time on your ticket, you'll take the train back to Interlaken, where the bus will return you to the meeting point in Zurich, concluding this 12-hour tour.

Included tickets permit access to the Cliff Walk by Tissot and the First View observation deck. Additional leisure activities include:

First Flyer Zipline

An 800-metre high (2,624 ft) zipline takes you from Mount First to Schreckfeld station at a speed of 84 kilometres per hour (52 mph). Availability: until October 27, 2024.

First Glider Zipline

The same route as the previous zipline but on an eagle-shaped line, with a maximum capacity of 4 people. Availability: until October 27, 2024.

First Mountain Cart

A pedal-powered vehicle for the 3 kilometres (1.8 miles) from Mount First to Bort station. Availability: from May 1, 2024, until October 27, 2024.

Trottibike Scooter

An environmentally friendly vehicle to travel from Mount First to Grindelwald station. Availability: from May 1, 2024, until October 27, 2024.

Guide

This tour is partially guided. The guide will accompany you on the bus journey from Zurich to Grindelwald and on the road journey from Interlaken to Zurich. However, there will be no guide during your free time in Grindelwald and Mount First, or on the train journey from Grindelwald to Interlaken, although necessary information will be provided.
