Cachigaga & Tomayquichua Day Trip

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Huánuco. We'll board our minibus and travel to the village of Tomayquichua.

Upon arrival, we'll see the famous wishing well and have the opportunity to make a wish. We will also visit the Hermitage of María Causa de Nuestra Alegría, a site of prayer known for its associated miracles.

Next, we will travel to the Hacienda Cachigaga. Here, we'll learn how the trapiche, a mill for extracting juice from sugar canes, is utilized to produce beverages. Tastings of these products will be offered, followed by a visit to the House of María Micaela Villegas y Hurtado de Mendoza, known as "La Perricholi," where we will discuss her remarkable life and events.

After a 4-hour day trip, we will return to your hotel in Huánuco.
