Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Huánuco at 4 am, as we embark on a minibus ride towards the archaeological wonders of Huánuco Pampa.

Also referred to as Wanuco Marka, this site showcases a wealth of remnants from an essential Inca administrative hub. During our exploration of this significant historical area, we will be captivated by the structures of a majestic citadel. The robust walls served to safeguard the capital of Chinchaysuyo, one of the core territories of the Inca empire.

Flourishing between 1460 and 1536, this ancient urban center experienced a halt in its growth following the arrival of Spanish conquerors. Nevertheless, the legacy of expansive rectangular enclosures known as kallankas can still be observed today. Curious about their functions? We’ll delve into their mysteries during our tour!

Post our visit to Huánuco Pampa, we proceed to the neighboring town of La Unión, where you will enjoy an hour of leisure for lunch. Following this, a sightseeing tour of the town awaits, featuring attractions such as the Puente Mariscal Caceres and the thermal baths of Tauripampa.

We will conclude our journey with a return to Plaza de Armas in Huánuco, with an expected arrival time of 7 pm.
