Artisan workshop in the Amazonian Rainforest

At 8 am we'll meet at the Hospedaje Los Incas to participate in a handicraft workshop in the jungle of Puerto Inca.

Handicrafts are a symbol of the cultural identity of indigenous communities, utilizing unique patterns and colors. Fabrics, clothes, and costume jewelry are examples, each with its own meaning, which we will explore throughout the experience.

We’ll go into the heart of the Amazon jungle on a tuk-tuk and then hike to source and extract materials for the handicrafts, including plants, stones, and seeds.

After selecting the best raw materials, we’ll break for lunch before heading to the handicraft production workshop. Here, Amazon natives will assist us in working with the materials to create pieces of jewelry and items from vegetable fibers. Participants can take home a souvenir at the end of the workshop.

We’ll return by tuk-tuk to Puerto Inca, arriving around 6 pm.
