Artisan Workshop in the Amazon Rainforest
Our journey begins at 8 am at Hospedaje Los Incas, setting off for a captivating workshop focused on local handicrafts, nestled in the lush jungle of Puerto Inca.
The handicrafts reflect the rich cultural identity of the indigenous communities, adorned with distinct patterns and vibrant colors. Fabrics, garments, and intricate costume jewelry each have unique significances that we'll explore as part of this immersive experience.
As we delve deeper into the Amazon jungle aboard a tuk-tuk, we will embark on an exciting hike to gather essential materials for our creations, such as plants, stones, and seeds.
Once we have harvested the finest natural elements, we’ll pause for a lunch break before moving on to the production workshop. Here, you'll receive guidance from native artisans who will assist in crafting your own pieces of jewelry and objects made from vegetable fibers, providing you with a personal souvenir to take home at the conclusion of the workshop!
Following this enriching experience, we’ll travel back to Puerto Inca via tuk-tuk, arriving around 6 pm.
