Cheese & Yoghurt Workshop in Puerto Inca
We'll begin our trip by meeting at 8 am at the Hospedaje Los Incas to start this gastronomic experience.
First, we'll head to a family dairy in Puerto Inca, where the cows for milk production are kept. Upon arrival, we'll receive an introduction on cow care and milking methods.
After the milking activity, we'll take a break for lunch. Soon after, we'll attend a master class on preserving milk and its derivatives to begin preparing cheese and yoghurt in the traditional way, without packaged crops, additives, or chemicals.
After packing the dairy products, we'll wait for them to harden before taking the fresh cheese we have prepared with us. We will also learn to make a delicious cured cheese and cottage cheese with the leftover whey, which can be replicated at home!
At 6 pm, we'll conclude the workshop.
