On this 9-day tour of Madagascar, you'll visit key locations, see lemurs, and walk through Baobabs Avenue. Destinations include Andasibe, Antsirabe, and Morondava.

Description

Day 1: Antananarivo

Welcome to Madagascar! After pickup from Antananarivo Ivato International Airport, you'll be taken to a hotel in Antananarivo for rest.

Day 2: Antananarivo – Andasibe

After breakfast, we'll travel to Andasibe, stopping at the Peyrieras Reserve to see local wildlife, including lemurs. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Mitsinjo Park for a chance to see Indris lemurs, followed by a nighttime forest tour.

Day 3: Andasibe

After breakfast, we'll explore Andasibe, aiming to see the 11 lemur species of the region. We'll visit Lemurs Island and Crocodile Park, then return to the hotel.

Day 4: Andasibe – Antsirabe

After breakfast, we'll depart Andasibe for Antsirabe, enjoying the landscapes. Upon arrival, we’ll take a guided rickshaw tour of the city.

Day 5: Antsirabe – Morondava

We’ll depart early for Baobabs Avenue in Morondava, a famous photographic site. You'll learn about the baobab trees and enjoy the sunset.

Day 6: Morondava

After breakfast, we’ll visit the mangroves and fishing town of Morondava by traditional boat. In the afternoon, we'll hike in Kirindy Mitea National Park, seeking various wildlife.

Day 7: Morondava – Antsirabe

After breakfast, we’ll return to Antsirabe, stopping for a meal in Miandrivazo. We’ll arrive at the hotel in the evening.

Day 8: Antsirabe – Antananarivo

After breakfast, we return to Antananarivo through the Central Highlands. After 3.5 hours, we’ll reach the hotel.

Day 9: Antananarivo

After breakfast, you'll be taken to Ivato International Airport for your flight.
