Valley of the Temples Sunset Tour

We will meet at the Porta di Giunone for a tour of the Valley of the Temples at sunset. This visit will include history, art, and mythology.

The adventure will begin at the Temple of Juno, where we will explore the most important archaeological site in Sicily. We will uncover stories about the ancient rituals and celebrations. The backdrop will feature sprawling valleys illuminated by the sunset.

Continuing to the Temple of Heracles, we will discover one of the oldest buildings in the valley. Our next stop will be the Temple of Concord, an example of Doric architecture, providing a picturesque scene with the sunset.

The tour will proceed to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, known for its colossal columns and significant ruins. We will conclude our visit at the Porta V, an entrance to the city that led to the great sanctuary of the Chthonic deities, where we will discuss the mysteries and beliefs about the Underworld.

Our tour will end 2 hours after it begins.
