White houses, historical monuments, colorful streets - all of these are just some of the highlights of Antequera that we'll explore on this full tour that also includes tickets to the famous dolmens site.

Antequera Tour + Tickets

We'll meet at the museum of the dolmens of Antequera. From here, we will start a comprehensive tour to discover the main monuments of the city.

Our first stop will be the dolmens of Menga and Viera, a significant archaeological site of European megalithic art. We'll explore the interior of these prehistoric temples.

Afterward, we will proceed to Coso Viejo square, located in the historic center. Next, we will enter the Collegiate Church of San Sebastian to admire its architectural details and learn about influential historical figures of the city. We'll then visit the Alcazaba from the outside, noted for its impressive walls.

In this area, we will also see the Royal Collegiate Church of Santa María la Mayor and the Roman baths, which operated from the 1st century A.D. until the 5th century. If you choose the morning tour, we will additionally visit the City of Antequera Museum.

We will end the Antequera tour by walking down the castle walls back to Coso Viejo Square.

From the dolmens of Menga and Viera, you will need to transfer to the Coso Viejo Square on your own, either on foot or by vehicle. Parking is available at La Moraleda, a 4-minute walk from the square.
