White houses, historical monuments, colorful streets - all of these are just some of the highlights of Antequera that we'll explore on this full tour that also includes tickets to the famous dolmens site.

Antequera Tour + Tickets

We'll meet at the museum of the dolmens of Antequera. From here, we'll begin a comprehensive tour exploring the main monuments of the city.

Our first stop will be the dolmens of Menga and Viera, recognized as one of the most important archaeological sites of European megalithic art. We'll investigate the interior of these prehistoric temples and uncover their secrets.

Next, we'll visit the Coso Viejo square in the historic center. We'll enter the Collegiate Church of San Sebastian to appreciate its details and the history of two influential figures. We will proceed to the highest point of Antequera to view the Alcazaba from the outside.

In this vicinity, we will also see the Royal Collegiate Church of Santa María la Mayor and the Roman baths, operational from the 1st to the late 5th century A.D. If you join the morning tour, we will include a visit to the City of Antequera Museum.

The tour concludes with a walk down along the castle walls back to Coso Viejo Square.

Transfers from the dolmens of Menga and Viera to Coso Viejo Square will be on your own, either by foot or vehicle. Parking is available in La Moraleda, a 4-minute walk from the square.
