Schooner Whale Watching Cruise

Whales, dolphins & incredible views of the south of Tenerife are the main ingredients of this schooner ride with whale watching. We'll sail the Atlantic in a pirate-like ship & see aquatic animals in their natural habitat.

Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Cristianos port. There, we'll board a schooner and start a journey through the waters of the Atlantic, exploring the southern coast of Tenerife.

The boat, reminiscent of a pirate ship, will take us to admire the coasts of Tenerife while we try to locate the families of cetaceans. Be attentive, as you may see dolphins and pilot whales unexpectedly!

If we're lucky, we'll see these animals up close, while maintaining a respectful distance. During the schooner ride, we'll enjoy the mountainous and arid landscape of southern Tenerife. If the weather permits, you'll also see the silhouette of Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain, where we will stop for a swim. Refreshments and water will be available during the cruise.

After 2 hours of sailing, we’ll return to the departure port.

The south coast of Tenerife is one of the best locations in the Canary Islands for seeing whales, dolphins, and other mammals. However, animal sightings are unpredictable. The number of animals seen will depend on various factors such as weather and breeding seasons of different species.
