Boat Tour
As part of your booking, you have the opportunity to enhance your Big Bus experience with a 1-hour boat cruise along the River Spree. Departing from stop 2 on the Red Line at Museum Island, this cruise offers a fresh perspective on Berlin’s architecture and landmarks.
During the boat ride, you’ll receive live commentary in both English and German while drifting past historic sites and modern structures hugging the riverbanks. The cruise is operational from March to November, with departures available at 11:15 am, 12:45 pm, 2:15 pm, 3:45 pm, and 5:15 pm. Note that the last departure at 5:15 pm is available only from March 29 to November 2.
Ticket Options for the Big Bus
When reserving your tickets, choose from the following options:
24-hour ticket: Offers unlimited access to the Big Bus for 24 hours across both routes.48-hour ticket: Grants unlimited use for 48 hours, includes a tasting of typical German Currywurst sausage, and a walking tour in English.24-hour Ticket with Boat Tour: Provides 24-hour access to the bus service along with a boat trip.48-Hour Ticket with Boat Tour: Combines the benefits of the 48-hour ticket with the addition of a boat cruise.
The German Currywurst sausage (exclusive to the 48-hour ticket) can be sampled at Curry Wolf venues located at Rankestrasse 36 (stop 1) and Unter den Linden (stops 12 and 13), available daily.
The included walking tour, also part of the 48-hour ticket, lasts for 1.5 hours and explores pivotal moments in Berlin's history, covering the Third Reich, World War II, the Cold War, and the fall of the Berlin Wall. This guided tour is offered daily at 2 pm (timing may vary), starting at the Brandenburg Gate (stop 13) and concluding at Checkpoint Charlie (stop 6).
Operating Hours & Frequencies
Red route: Operates from 10 am to 4 pm, with buses every 20-30 minutes.Blue route: Running from 10:15 am to 4:15 pm, with a frequency of every 60 minutes.

Utilization of the Berlin Sightseeing Bus
Your ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours from its initial usage. Feel free to board and alight from the buses as often as desired during this period. Although a start date is required when booking, you are allowed to commence your journey at any point within a window of 6 months from the selected date.
For the boat tour option, it's important to note that passengers may partake in the boat ride only once.
