On this tour of Como, we will explore the key monuments of the town that is named after Italy's third largest lake. A ticket for the tourist boat to villages like Cernobbio or Moltrasio is included.

Tour of Como + Tourist Boat

At your chosen time, we will meet at Piazza Cavour to begin this guided tour of Como. We will discuss the ancient medieval port of Como and its burial in the late 19th century, followed by a walk through the historic center, observing key sites such as the Teatro Sociale and the Cathedral.

We will enter the Cathedral of Como to learn about the Comacini masters and their significance in the art of Lombardy, along with interesting facts about this important religious site, which took nearly 400 years to complete.

Next, we will view the exterior of the church of San Fedele from 1120, the remnants of the medieval city walls, and a sculpture of Alessandro Volta, a renowned Italian chemist and physicist. After an hour and a half, we will conclude near the starting point, by the sculpture of Daniel Libeskind by Lake Como.

Lake Como Tourist Boat

This tour also includes a ticket for the Lake Como tourist boat, valid only on the day of the tour. Tickets can be picked up at 9:15 am or 11:15 am at the meeting point or will be provided by the guide at the end of the city tour.

The tour lasts 1 hour; however, participants can hop on and off at any stop. The boat connects to the ports of Cernobbio, Moltrasio, Torno, and Blevio.
