Are you a Potterhead visiting the capital of Scotland? With this Harry Potter-themed walking tour of Edinburgh, you'll discover the city where JK Rowling found inspiration for her famous books!

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the William Chambers Monument to begin this walking tour of Edinburgh.

First, we'll head to Greyfriars Kirkyard, a graveyard located on the southern edge of the old town, where you'll see the real grave of Tom Riddle. Explore the old town’s narrow streets and historic buildings that inspired the author.

Then, you'll discover which Hogwarts House you belong to! After revealing your house, you'll have the chance to test your Harry Potter knowledge and earn points.

Afterward, we’ll go to the Edinburgh City Chambers, the meeting place of the City of Edinburgh Council. You will see JK Rowling's golden handprints outside the City Chambers, where she received the Edinburgh Award in 2008.
