Tuscany Villages Day Trip & Wine Tour

On this day trip, we'll explore the province of Siena, visiting the villages of Monteriggioni, Pienza, and Montepulciano, along with two wine tastings.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the corner of Via dell' Oriuolo and Via del Proconsolo with Piazza del Duomo. Our trip begins with a 40-minute stop in Monteriggioni for breakfast or relaxation before proceeding to a local winery for our first tasting, featuring three glasses of wine, olive oil, and fresh bread.

Afterward, we’ll head to Pienza, known for its Renaissance harmony, where you’ll have 1 hour and 20 minutes to explore highlights like the Corso Rossellino’s palaces and the Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral.

Next is Montepulciano, with 1 hour and 45 minutes to admire its Renaissance architecture. We’ll visit a local winery to learn about prestigious wines, including Brunello, and enjoy a tasting of four wines with local delicacies.

We’ll conclude the day by returning to the starting point after an 11.5-hour adventure.
