Genoa & Portofino Tour

On this tour of Genoa and Portofino, we will explore the capital of the Liguria region and the pearl of the Italian Riviera. Enjoy colorful houses, shops, restaurants, and a lively harbor.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will meet at Piazza Caricamento to begin this tour of Genoa. The tour will start at the port of Genoa, where we will embark on a walking tour through the old town's labyrinth of narrow alleys. We will visit the major monuments of Liguria’s capital and uncover its rich maritime and commercial past.

Before proceeding, there will be free time for lunch. Following this, we will take a bus for a panoramic tour along the Gulf of Tigullio, known as the Gulf of the Dolphins.

We will stop in Santa Margherita Ligure, a picturesque fishing village, where we will board a boat to Portofino. This small seaside town has been home to famous writers and poets.

In Portofino, we will explore its streets lined with souvenir shops, enjoy views of the Ligurian Sea, and experience the atmosphere of its fishing port.

After our time in Portofino, we will return by boat to Santa Margherita Ligure, then board the bus back to Genoa.

Eight hours later, we will return to the meeting point.
