Los Haitises National Park



Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel in Punta Cana starting at 6:30 am, as we head towards Los Haitises National Park, known for its exceptional karst formation kissed by the waters of Samaná Bay.



Upon arrival, we'll hop on a boat to navigate down the Caño Hondo River. Keep your eyes peeled for the lush red mangroves lining the shores until we arrive at the stunning San Lorenzo bay. Here, amidst the open waters, we will spot rocky outcrops that serve as homes for pelicans and iguanas.



The adventure continues with a visit to the Arena and La Línea caves, historically frequented by the Taíno people. Inside, you will marvel at the intricate indigenous pictograms and petroglyphs that adorn the walls.



We will then make a stop at the Hotel Paraíso Caño Hondo, where refreshing natural pools await you. Take a rejuvenating dip in the inviting waters of the Jivales River.



After your swim, indulge in a savory Dominican lunch featuring rice, beans, your choice of fish or chicken, tostones, and seasonal avocados. Beverages available include soft drinks, water, and natural juices made from passion fruit, tamarind, and cherry.



Next, we will board a jeep for a trip to the summit of Redonda Mountain, located between the Limón and Redonda lagoons. From this viewpoint, the panoramic views of the jungle resemble a scene from a fairy tale.



In the end, we will head back to the mainland and return to Punta Cana, with a return time to your hotel approximately 10 hours after departure.

Los Haitises National Park + Kayak



This itinerary closely aligns with the previous one, but instead of speeding back to the port, we will navigate via kayak, giving you the opportunity to experience an ecological route that deepens your connection with nature. Paddle through serene canals bordered by mangroves!



This option also includes the previously mentioned Dominican lunch.

Los Haitises National Park + Playa Esmeralda



If you’re looking to enhance your experience further, this option begins with a thrilling boat ride through the mangroves of Los Haitises National Park, where you’ll traverse canals rich in biodiversity. We’ll then proceed towards the Arena Cave and La Línea Cave to uncover ancient pictograms and petroglyphs.



Following the exploration, you will enjoy a delightful typical Dominican lunch, served in a spectacular natural setting within the park. After lunch, we’ll head to Playa Esmeralda, a pristine beach with soft white sands and crystal-clear waters. This idyllic spot will offer you the chance to swim and unwind in a true Caribbean paradise.



Your day will conclude as we return you to your hotel, approximately 10 to 12 hours after your pickup.
