Come and discover the charming outskirts of Joinville on this trip to the Max Moppi Distillery and the Krüger House. There, we'll learn about the history of Santa Catarina and try some delicious liquor.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Joinville. The tour includes visits to the Max Moppi Distillery and the Krüger House. The journey features bucolic landscapes and farms with gardens. Our first stop is at the Krüger House, built in 1925, now a National Historical Site. We’ll explore the importance of immigration in Santa Catarina through photographs and various utensils while learning about the Krüger family's customs and traditions.

Next, we'll visit the Max Moppi Distillery to discover the production process of cachaça, one of Brazil's renowned distilled beverages. We'll learn about the historical use of oxen mills and participate in a tasting of different cachaças.

After this, we’ll visit the Pfau Apiary to observe bee breeding and honey extraction. Then, we will go to Vale das Pitaias, where you may harvest pitaya if visiting between January and April. The tour also includes a stop at Rancho da Cana, known for handcrafted cachaça, and at the Expoville Shopping Center. Finally, we will see the Pórtico, a notable wooden structure symbolizing Joinville.

After about three hours of exploration, we’ll return to your hotel in Joinville.
