The Hong Kong sightseeing bus (Big Bus Tours) provides a comfortable way to explore the city. The double-decker open-top buses cover main sights on Hong Kong Island, Stanley, and Kowloon, allowing 24 hours of hopping on and off at various stops.

Hong Kong Sightseeing Bus Routes & Stops

The bus operates on 3 routes: the red line for Hong Kong Island, the green line for Stanley, and the blue line for Kowloon. Passengers can enjoy pre-recorded commentary in English and other languages during their journey. Popular stops include Tsim Tsa Tsui, Aberdeen, Stanley Harbours, Victoria Park, Victoria Peak, International Commerce Centre, and Mongkok district.

Ticket Options

Available ticket options include:

24-hour basic ticket: unlimited use of one bus (red, green, or blue line) and a round-trip ticket for the Star Ferry.24-hour complete ticket: unlimited use of any bus and a round-trip ticket for the Star Ferry.48-hour ticket: unlimited access for 48 hours and a choice between: Peak Tram Sky Pass with entry to Sky Terrace 428, aquatic taxi ticket, or visit to Sampan Houseboat.

How Does It Work?

Your ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours from the first use. You can hop on and off at any stop as many times as desired. While you select a date when booking, the ticket is valid for 12 months after that date. A voucher will be sent via email to present on the first bus.

Operating Times

Red line: 10 am to 5 pm, every 45 minutes; route duration of 1.5 hours.Green line: 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, every 60 minutes; route duration of 1.5 hours.Blue line: 10 am to 5 pm, every 60 minutes; route duration of 1 hour. Note: stop 21 of the blue line is not operating.
