At 8 am, pickup will be from your hotel in Boca del Rio before heading south to the coastal town of Alvarado. This community is located at the mouth of the Blanco and Papaloapan rivers, with a main industry of fishing. You'll stroll through the streets while the guide shares the history of Pedro de Alvarado, founder of the city.

A boat ride on the Papaloapan River follows, where you can enjoy the lush landscapes along the banks.

Next, we head to the city of Tlacotalpan, merging Caribbean and Spanish culture. A guided tour will take you to key locations, including the Church of the Virgin of the Candelaria and the House-Museum of musician and poet Agustín Lara.

You'll again enjoy a boat ride on the Papaloapan River and its surrounding landscapes.

There will be approximately 2 hours of free time for lunch to experience the local gastronomy in Tlacotalpan's restaurants.

After lunch, the vehicle will take you back to your hotel in Boca del Rio, arriving around 6 pm.
