Penguins Parade Viewing - Full-Day Tour

We will visit the Koala Conservation Reserve, where you will look for koalas in their leafy native bushland habitat from treetop boardwalks, while you should keep an eye out for wallabies (smaller-looking kangaroos) grazing the woodland floor. Here or at our next stop you can enjoy the afternoon tea snacks (not included).

Continue to the western tip of Phillip Island to The Nobbies Centre, a rugged rocky outcrop with magnificent coastal views. Stroll down the extensive coastal boardwalk where you may spot Little Penguins’ homes (depending on the season).

Admire Seal Rocks – home to Australia’s largest colony of fur seals and explore the Visitor’s Information Centre at the Penguin Parade. There you can learn about the life of the Little Penguins as you walk through the “Penguin Experience” exhibit.

At sunset witness the Penguin Parade on floodlit Summerland Beach from the exclusive Penguins Plus premium viewing area for the best views of the Penguins, a.k.a. “penguins highway".

Watch in awe as the Little Penguins waddle in from the ocean, across the beach and to their burrows amongst the sand dunes. You will also be able to see penguin rookeries from an elevated boardwalk. There are dining options available at the Penguin Parade (not included).

Options:

• Premium seating: This option gives you access to a smaller viewing platform closer to where the penguins actually leave the water as well as a good section of boardwalk that the rest of the crowd does not have access to where the majority of penguins pass close to en route home.

• General seating: Overlook Summerland Beach and offer tiered seating and boardwalks with restricted capacity, to allow plenty of space.
