We'll meet at the scheduled time at Piazza Duca D'Aosta to take a bus to northern Italy.

Leaving Lombardy, we'll arrive in Domodossola where we will board the Trenino Verde, or the Green Train of the Alps. This two-hour scenic train ride will take us through the Simplon mountain pass at an altitude of 2008 metres.

Upon entering the Swiss alpine landscapes, we will disembark in the alpine village of Spiez. There will be time for lunch to sample local Swiss specialties. After lunch, we will reconvene in the village center for a boat trip on Lake Thun to Interlaken.

During the cruise on Lake Thun, we will admire the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks. Once in Interlaken, you will have the opportunity to explore the historic center at your leisure, which features various Swiss chocolate shops.

In the afternoon, we will meet again in Interlaken to return on the Green Train to Domodossola. From there, we will take the bus back to Milan, arriving at the original meeting point approximately 11 hours after the initial start time.
