Discover two of the gems of northern Italy with this full-day trip from Milan: visit Monte Bianco and explore the village of Courmayeur, located in the Aosta Valley region.

Monte Bianco & Courmayeur Tour

We'll meet at the Largo Cairoli Visitor Centre and travel by bus to the Aosta Valley after departing from Milan.

After a two and a half hour drive, we arrive in Courmayeur, located at the foot of Monte Bianco. Upon arrival, we'll board the Monte Bianco Skyway, riding to the Pavillon du Mont Fréty, which offers panoramic views. We will descend here to visit Saussurea, the highest botanical garden in Europe at 2173 metres above sea level.

The Saussurea botanical garden is near the Bellevue panoramic restaurant, where lunch can be purchased. Afterward, we will continue the cable car ride to Punta Helbronner, which marks the alpine border between Italy and France.

From Punta Helbronner, at an altitude of 3466 metres, we will enjoy views of the Italian, French, and Swiss Alps. After taking in the scenery, we will return by cable car to the historic centre of Courmayeur, where you can explore local chocolate shops.

Finally, we will return by bus to the meeting point in Milan, arriving 13 hours after we began our trip.
