Capri and Pompeii Day Trip

Fall in love with the beauty of Capri and travel back in time admiring the archaeological UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pompeii. A tour of contrasts combining the history of Ancient Rome and the high fashion of the island!

Day Trip Details

The tour starts in the morning at your selected pickup point, followed by a hydrofoil ferry to Capri, located off the coast of Sorrento. The trip begins at La Piazzeta, where we will explore the island's narrow streets filled with local shops and renowned Italian fashion designers. We will walk up Vía Krupp to the Gardens of Augustus, the summer residence of Friedrich Alfred Krupp, overlooking the Faraglioni, three iconic sea rocks. Free time is allocated to discover the island's cuisine with a traditional lunch (not included) and explore local shops before heading back to Naples.

Upon returning to Naples, we will proceed to Pompeii, the archaeological site impacted by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79. Participants will learn about life in Ancient Rome as we visit the thermal baths, Macellum, and Basilica. The day trip concludes after a total of 8 hours.

If there are fewer than 6 people in the group, the guide will be substituted by an audio guide in Pompeii.
