On this trip to the monasteries of Batalha and Alcobaça, we'll leave Nazaré for a journey through the history and architecture of Portugal.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Nazaré. Our first stop will be at the Alcobaça Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once there, we'll take a guided tour to explore the cloisters, chapels, and rooms of this ancient Cistercian monastery, as well as discover the legends surrounding this sacred site.
Next, we'll head to the Batalha Monastery, another significant monument in Portugal’s history. We'll admire this Manueline Gothic masterpiece during a guided tour, focusing on its architectural details and history as we explore its chapels, sacristy, and cloisters.
After visiting these two historical sites, we'll return to Nazaré and drop you off at your hotel 4 hours after pickup.
