Kyoto Day Trip

Explore the historic heart of Japan with a day excursion to Kyoto from Osaka. You will encounter impressive Buddhist temples, serene gardens, magnificent imperial palaces, Shinto shrines, and much more during this experience!

Details of the Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we will gather and board the bus heading towards the city of Kyoto. The journey lasts approximately one hour.

Your adventure will commence at Fushimi Inari-Taisha, recognized as the principal Shinto shrine of Kyoto and one of the most stunning temples in Japan. After appreciating the beauty of this shrine, we will proceed to Kiyomizudera Temple, a collection of sacred sites classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This landmark is undeniably a highlight of the former Japanese capital!

Feeling hungry? Around 1 PM, we will take a break at a local restaurant where you can enjoy a traditional lunch, featuring a rice dish complemented by tofu and vegetable tempura.

Once refreshed, we will move on to our next highlight, Kinkaku-ji, also known as the Golden Pavilion. Did you know this temple once served as the home of Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu?

Our final stop will be Arashiyama, famous for its enchanting bamboo forest—a scene that seems pulled from a fairy tale. Be sure to capture wonderful photos among its picturesque winding paths!

Finally, we will return to Osaka and drop you off at our initial meeting spot, concluding our journey after roughly 9.5 hours.

Meeting Point

The meeting location varies based on your selected date:

Until March 31, 2026 (inclusive): pickup will be at the Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT) Building.Starting April 1, 2026 (inclusive): pickup will be at Osaka-Umeda Station.

Transport-Only Option

During the reservation process, you have the choice of the transport-only alternative. This option follows the same itinerary as the full tour but excludes entrance fees and lunch.
