Explore stunning waterfalls and diverse wildlife: leave behind the hustle of Bangkok for a day dedicated to the natural splendor found in one of Thailand's vast national parks with this excursion to Khao Yai.

Khao Yai Excursion

At the scheduled time, you will be collected from your accommodation in Bangkok for a scenic drive of approximately three hours to the northeast. Get ready for a thrilling jungle experience!

On our route, we will pause briefly at The Birder's Lodge, where you can enjoy a coffee before we continue towards Khao Yai National Park, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Upon arrival, our adventure begins with a guided hiking expedition. As we traverse the trails, you’ll have the opportunity to observe the unique local vegetation and, with a bit of luck, catch sight of some of the wildlife that calls this park home, including elephants, gibbons, and deer. After 2 to 3 hours of exploration, depending on the group's pace, we will finally reach the Haew Suwat waterfall, which is the park's most prominent waterfall. If you're familiar with the film The Beach featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, this scenic view might resonate with you as it showcases a memorable scene.

Here, you will have around 30 minutes to enjoy lunch. Close to the waterfall, there is a cafeteria and a small dining option—your choice awaits!

With your energy replenished, the journey resumes towards the Haew Narok waterfall, known for its picturesque setting. We'll take a moment to appreciate the refreshing ambiance of the waterfall and enjoy a well-deserved break before heading back.

Concluding our adventure, we will return to Bangkok and part ways at the MBK Shopping Centre after an enriching 11-hour experience.

Itinerary Modifications

During the months of April and May, visits to the Haew Suwat and Haew Narok waterfalls are unavailable, as the water flow is minimal during this dry season.

Instead, following lunch, we will embark on a nature trail along the park's winding paths, soaking in the mesmerizing surroundings. Our hike will culminate at the Nong Phak Chi Observation Tower, where you can ascend to the top and revel in the stunning panoramic views of the landscape.

Pickup Details

This excursion includes pickups from hotels situated along Khaosan Road, Narathiwas Ratnakarin, Sathorn Road (both north and south), Pratunam, and Wireless Road. If your accommodation is outside these specified areas, you will need to arrange your own transportation to the MBK Shopping Centre.
