Description
At the scheduled time, we'll begin this private tour of Poitiers at the entrance to Norte-Dame la Grande Church.
After admiring the church, we will enter Poitier's historic centre. During the tour, we will discover stories related to the templars, Joan of Arc, and other prominent figures in the history of medieval France.
We'll stop at Place du Maréchal-Leclerc to see the façade of Poitiers City Hall. The tour will continue in front of St. Peter's Cathedral, where we will observe architectural details typical of Angevin Gothic style.
As we stroll around the city's old town, we will learn about the first University of Poitiers and the significant events in Poitier's history.
Finally, after a 1.5-hour tour, we will conclude in front of the Church of Sainte-Radegonde.
