Tour Details
We'll meet at the indicated time in Via Tunisi, number 4, near the main entrance of the Vatican Museums.
This first access tour allows us to visit the museums in the early morning, ensuring preferential access and avoiding long lines at one of the most significant museums globally and the largest collection of art of the Catholic Church.
Prior to entry, our guide will provide an introduction to the museums and the history of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. During the tour, we will see various sculptures, paintings, and other artworks from multiple eras and styles.
A key highlight will be our visit to the Sistine Chapel, renowned for its Michelangelo frescos, including The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment. The chapel also serves as the location for conclaves to elect new Popes.
The guide will offer a detailed explanation of the history and art of this iconic hall while respecting sound regulations. This tour lasts a total of 3 hours and concludes inside the museum.
Children Under 18
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Bookings for more than 10 children per 1 adult are not permitted.
Important Info
From February 2026 for approximately 3 months, maintenance work will take place on Michelangelo's 'The Last Judgment'. The Sistine Chapel will remain open for visits, and restoration will be conducted behind a high-definition canvas reproducing the fresco, minimizing visual impact.
