Ice Fishing in Rovaniemi

At the selected time, we'll pick you up in Rovaniemi and head to a picturesque area in the Arctic Circle. During the approximately 20-minute journey, we'll enjoy the snowy scenery and fir tree forests of northern Rovaniemi.

Upon reaching the lake, we'll dig a hole in the ice and wait for a fish to take the bait. The ice in this region can reach a depth of up to one meter during winter. Our guide will provide techniques and tips for fishing in Arctic conditions. Participants are encouraged to be patient and enjoy the unique surroundings.

The guide will find wood to prepare a lakeside bonfire. Once the fire is lit, we will roast sausages and enjoy the warmth. This tour combines unique landscapes with the opportunity to capture incredible photos while learning about local culture. After fishing, we will return to Rovaniemi.
