Ticket to the Fort de Salses

Travel back in time with a ticket to the Fort de Salses, a masterpiece of military architecture. The fortress has been a point of contention between Spain and France, ultimately being conquered by France in 1642.

This ticket allows you to explore the fortress freely, including the common part, the stronghold, and the keep, the fortress' last refuge. It has been reconstructed by the military engineer Vauban, highlighting his innovative skills.

Opening Times

The Fort de Salses is open Monday to Sunday:

April 1 to September 30: 10 am to 6:30 pmOctober 1 to March 31: 10 am to 12:45 pm and 2 pm to 5:15 pm

Last access is 45 minutes before closing time.

Free Admission

Admission to the Fort de Salses is free for these individuals:

Young people from the EU aged 18 to 25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.

To receive free admission, visit the ticket office with a valid ID. Free admission is also granted to all on the first Sunday of the month from January to March, November to December, and on the third weekend of September.
