Palacio de Velarde Guided Tour

On this guided tour of Palacio de Velarde, we'll explore this 15th-century Renaissance building through impressive sets, holograms, and projections.

Description

We will meet at the entrance of Palacio de Velarde in Santillana del Mar at the designated time to begin the tour. The tour starts with an overview of the building's construction.

Next, we will proceed to the second floor, home to a great hall where we may encounter the spirits of notable residents like Pedro Velarde, Ricardo León, and Trinidad Von Sholt Hermensdorff.

We will then ascend to the third floor to discuss Renaissance architecture, the Velarde family lineage, and the various coats of arms displayed in the palace.

Additionally, we will observe the well-preserved rooms, including the office of Frida Kahlo's doctor, Francisco Guerra, which offers excellent panoramic views of Santillana del Mar and its historic centre.
