Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip

Are you a history lover? On this day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius, we'll visit the ancient city which was buried by the eruption of the famous volcano in Campania.

Tour Description

We'll meet at the designated point in Sorrento at the specified time and begin our day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius. Depending on availability, we will travel by train or minibus.

Our first stop is the Vesuvius National Park, accessed by minibus, where we will hike along a scenic trail. With our guide, we'll explore the landscape of this renowned natural site. We will learn about its status as one of the most dangerous volcanoes while admiring the crater and enjoy views of the Gulf of Naples, from the Miseno cape to the Campanella point.

Afterward, we will head back to the minibus and proceed to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii. Here, we will visit the forum, baths, and lupanar, learning how the ash from the eruption contributed to their preservation.

Upon concluding the guided tour of Pompeii, we will return to Sorrento by train or minibus, timing our return for a total of 8 or 9 hours.
