Description

We will meet at the Calle de le Rasse at the specified time to start the tour of the mysteries and legends of the Ducal Palace. The tour begins with the meaning behind the mysterious pink columns, followed by a visit to the anti-chamber, where former ambassadors were entertained. We will explore the bedroom of the three leaders, known for its intriguing legend.

As we look at the works of Titian and Tintoretto, we will uncover more secrets of Venice's Ducal Palace while crossing the Bridge of Sighs, linked to the sobs of convicts headed to prison.

We will discuss Casanova's escape and the interrogation intimidation methods used in that era.

The tour lasts 50 minutes and concludes at the main entrance of the Ducal Palace.

Entry to the Piazza San Marco Museums

After the Ducal Palace tour, you will receive priority access tickets for the museums in Piazza San Marco: Correr Museum, Archaeological Museum, and National Martian Library. Note that visits are unguided.

The Correr Museum can be visited on the same day as the Ducal Palace tour or the day after.

The other museums can be visited on any day, but the National Martian Library closes on Sundays.

You may enter each museum only once.
