Verona Train Trip
At the scheduled time, we'll meet inside the Santa Lucia train station. The guide will provide your tickets and accompany you on the train to Verona.
Upon arrival, we'll begin our walking tour of Romeo and Juliet's city. We'll see various architectural styles, including Roman, Medieval, and Renaissance. Highlights include Piazza delle Erbe, the oldest square in Verona, home to the Forum, Lamberti Tower, and the Porta Borsari, part of the ancient city walls.
Our exploration will cover key historical monuments, including the Arena, a Roman amphitheatre known for its opera festival. We will discuss notable artists who performed there and other figures linked to the city, including the infamous duo, Romeo and Juliet. We will also visit the balcony of Juliet's House.
After the guided tour, you'll have the rest of the day free for further exploration and leisure, such as enjoying an aperitif near the Ponte Pietra.
We will reconvene for the return train to Venice, concluding our trip at 1:45 pm at the Santa Lucia train station.
