Mandinga Boat Trip

Boat Trip Details

We will meet at 3 pm in Plaza Acuario and then take the tram to Mandinga. After a 30-minute journey, we will head to the pier where a boat will be waiting.

For the next 40 minutes, we will sail from Laguna Chica to Laguna Grande, passing through a forest of mangroves, where you will see the area's diverse fauna and flora.

Along the way, we may encounter various bird species, such as herons and cormorants, inhabiting the small islands in the lagoons.

After the boat ride, you will have about one hour of free time to taste the region's typical fish and seafood in local restaurants. The Mandinga oysters, which are sometimes fished out while you wait, are highly recommended.

At 6 pm, we will return to the station and hop back on the tram, which will take us back to Veracruz in just half an hour. The trip concludes at the original starting point.
