Tour Itinerary: Explore the Town of Viseu

We will meet at Teatro Viriato to commence the guided tour of Viseu. Our first stop is Praça Dom Duarte, where we will appreciate its architecture. Nearby is the Sé de Viseu, a 12th-century cathedral known for its twin towers. We will then visit Parque do Fontelo, a green space ideal for relaxation.

Further along Rua Direita, we will head to Cava de Viriato, a site thought to have been a Roman encampment, marked by a grove and a monument to Viriato. The tour continues through Jardim das Mães, Parque da Cidade, and Parque Aquilino Ribeiro, where we can enjoy the floral scenery. We will conclude at Jardim da Ribeira, offering stunning river views.

The guided tour lasts 1.5 hours and finishes at the historic Porta do Soar, an ancient entrance reflecting Viseu's history. We will conclude our tour at this location.
