Tour Itinerary: Explore the Town of Viseu

The tour begins at Teatro Viriato. Our first stop is the Praça Dom Duarte, where we will admire its architecture. Nearby, we will visit the Sé de Viseu, a 12th-century cathedral with twin towers and a vaulted ceiling. Next, we proceed to Parque do Fontelo, an area for relaxation in nature.

Continuing along Rua Direita, we will head towards the Cava de Viriato, a promenade with an octagonal enclosure linked to a Roman legion encampment, marked by the monument to Viriato. The tour also includes Jardim das Mães, Parque da Cidade, and Parque Aquilino Ribeiro, ideal for enjoying floral beauty and nature. We then visit Jardim da Ribeira, a riverside park with panoramic views.

The tour concludes at Porta do Soar, an ancient city entrance reflecting Viseu's history. The guided tour lasts 1.5 hours, concluding with farewells.
