Begin your tour at The Savill and Valley Gardens, notable for their distinct environments and natural beauty. Spanning over 1000 acres, this area includes the Thames and is filled with flowers and trees, and wildlife such as deer can sometimes be spotted.

Inside the castle, the State Apartments feature intricate ceiling paintings and you can visit the Queen’s Mary Dolls’ House (currently closed to visitors).

Depending on your visit date, you may witness the Change of Guard at St. George’s Chapel and explore its Gothic interior, characterized by high ceilings and historical flags, reminiscent of the times of Henry VIII.

March – October: Thursday to Monday from 10 am – 5:30 pm (last entry at 4 pm)November – February: Thursday to Monday from 10 am – 4:15 pm (last entry at 3 pm)

St George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays and is currently closed daily.As a functioning Royal Palace, Windsor Castle may close on short notice due to events like state ceremonies and maintenance.Changes of the Guard at St. George's Chapel occur only on Thursday and Saturday at 11 am.
