Mount Titlis Day Trip

On the morning of your tour, you will leave Zurich towards Lucerne. A brief introduction drive through this lakeside city will present important monuments and their legends. You will have about an hour of free time to explore the historic center or have lunch.

Afterward, you will continue to Engelberg, where you will board the Titlis Rotair, a panoramic cable car with rotating cabins providing 360-degree views of the Alpine landscapes.

After a 40-minute cable car ride, you'll reach the peak of Mount Titlis at over 10,600 feet (3,238 m). You will have approximately two hours of free time for activities at the mountain before returning to Zurich.

What is there to do at Mount Titlis?

At the summit, you can participate in the following activities included in your ticket:

Titlis Cliff Walk: Europe's highest suspension bridge at around 10,000 feet (3,000 m), offering views of the glacier, Uri Alps, and Italy.Ice Flyer: a chair lift providing views over glaciers, virgin snow, and crevasses.Glacier Cave: explore a nearly 500-foot-long (150 m) walkway beneath the glacier.Glacier Park: enjoy sledding and snow tubing in the snow fun zone.

You can also visit the TITLIS Horizon viewpoint, with admission costing 18 CHF for adults and 9 CHF for children, subject to weather conditions and maintenance.

Itinerary Adjustments

From June 2026 onwards, visits to the summit will be reduced to approximately 1 hour due to construction of the new Titlis tower and mountain station. The itinerary and transportation may also be modified during maintenance.
