Here are two ideas to get started: the first is a classic and suitable for all levels—a private snowboarding lesson at a major ski resort like those in Colorado, Vermont, or Scotland’s Cairngorms. The second option is more original and not very widespread in the UK or US—yet. We’re talking about mushing, or gliding through snowy landscapes on a sled pulled by dogs. Try it in a snowy resort in Alaska or Northern Canada. With a double sled led by a professional guide giving commands to the dogs, you’ll discover remote and magical corners few travelers ever see.
